Job Description

A new startup is looking for a part-time marketing assistant/intern to help plan and implement our marketing and advertising activities mainly in the Greater Bay & China market. No Freelancers considered for this role. 


  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality & coordination of the marketing activities
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities
  • Gather & analyse consumer behavior data (e.g. web traffic and rankings)
  • Create reports on marketing & sales metrics, like conversion rates
  • Assist in the organising of promotional events & traditional or digital campaigns & possibly attend them to facilitate their success
  • Prepare & deliver promotional presentations
  • Compose & post online content on the company’s website, WeChat & social media accounts
  • Communicate directly with clients & encourage trusting relationships
  • Coordinate with the Admin Intern to create advertising material (e.g. brochures & newsletters)
  • Keep organised records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns
  • Prepare regular sales forecasting reports


  • Bilingual in Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) is essential, & English fluency in both written & verbal English is important
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task & adhere to deadlines
  • Well-organised with a customer-oriented approach
  • Knowledge of marketing digital tools & techniques
  • Experience with SEO/SEM campaigns
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, marketing computer software & online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google Adwords etc.). 
  • Knowledge and experience of WeChat
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitude
  • Initiative, well organised & able to work independently & self-motivated
  • Ability to work under pressure, patient & a team player
  • BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
  • Interest in mental health would be an advantage
  • Be able to work 1-2 days per week
