Also, the Mental Health First Aid Action Plan is central to most of our Mental Health First Aid courses.

    Vision and Mission

To raise awareness of mental health wellbeing, ensure everyone who is struggling with all kinds of emotional and mental illnesses has the support that they require.

    How we started

Positive Wellbeing Ltd started in June 2020, our founder Shirralee comprehended the pressure and difficulties that teenagers and adults were facing in Hong Kong, and decided to provide mental health training courses, aiming to reduce the issue.

Over 20 years of experience working with adolescents and adults with stress, anxiety, depression, and other areas of mental health and emotional wellbeing, Shirralee has worked in different sectors of mental health in many countries from the UK to Australia. She worked for 5 years in an international school in Hong Kong as a counsellor, delivering mental health training on a part-time basis, before setting up Positive Wellbeing Ltd.

As an accredited Youth Mental Health First Aid instructor, Shirralee delivers a variety of mental health training courses covering two main areas: mental health first aid courses, and proactive mental health and wellbeing courses.  She is also keen to deliver training to raise awareness about emotional wellbeing.

Aside from mental health training courses, Shirralee works part-time as a counsellor, she is keen to work with individuals to develop a clear plan as they work through their journey, pulling on a range of therapies to fit into their situation and environment.

She is a member of the British Psychological Society, the Health and Care Professionals Council (UK), an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (Australia), and an Associate Fellow Registered Counsellor in HK.
